Welcome: The Underworld & the Fool
This module focuses on the next phase of the Heroic Journey, finally, after passing through the gates and shedding layer upon layer, the Protagonist finds themselves at the doorstep to the Underworld. It is here that they meet their forgotten selves, the pieces that have been buried or sent to the Underworld. It is in the Underworld that the divine transformation happens—but this is not easy or simple. That is the way of the Underworld.
When our Protagonist is still hanging on the hook the Underworld, it is here that they are transforming, shifting, becoming. They can't get off the hook, and return to the Upperworld without assistance from the Elders and the Allies! They need the Food of Life and the Water of Life, and time to integrate it all. Stay tuned in this module for details on what that means, and what that looks like for people in the childbearing year!

Explore ways to lead parents in using vocalization in labor.
Guide parents in a solution-focused art process and exploration of Fear in labor.
Gain ideas for how to lead a special birth class for partners.
Create a Mentor Bundle as a way to support and celebrate their own deepening as mentors.
Lead an art process for parents that helps identify what they are hoping to bring to their birth experience, while remaining open to many possibilities.
